Barnsley FC Community Trust is looking for a passionate and driven Inclusion Officer to join the team and help create more opportunities for people across the community to feel included, get involved and thrive.

About the Role

The Inclusion Officer will play a key role in coordinating and delivering inclusive programmes including Inclusive Reds, Reds Unite, Short Breaks and Rainbow Reds, while helping the Trust develop new and innovative opportunities for underrepresented groups.

The role involves building partnerships with local organisations, supporting and leading staff and volunteers, championing equality and inclusion, and making sure the voices of participants are at the heart of everything the Trust does.

What You'll Do

Coordinate and deliver inclusive programmes including Inclusive Reds, Reds Unite, Short Breaks and Rainbow Reds
Develop new and innovative opportunities for underrepresented groups
Build partnerships with local organisations
Support and lead staff and volunteers
Champion equality and inclusion across the Trust's work
Ensure the voices of participants are at the heart of programme delivery

What They're Looking For

Someone passionate about making a positive difference
Experience working with diverse groups, including people with disabilities and/or SEND
A strong understanding of inclusive community or sport delivery
Excellent organisation, communication and relationship-building skills
Someone who can take initiative, lead programmes and turn ideas into action
Practical Details
Salary: £26,000 – £29,000
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
