Volunteer Graphic Designer
Sport Local Action CIC | Remote | Flexible, from a couple of hours a week
About Sport Local Action
Sport Local Action is a non-profit that exists for two reasons:
To amplify the great work of Sport for Good organisations - through the Power of Sport Podcast, our weekly newsletter, website content, and social media.
To remove financial barriers between young people and playing sport, through Sports Bank - including our shop, pledges, and soon-to-launch retail outlets and leisurewear brand.
The Role
We're looking for volunteer graphic designers to support work across the whole SLA portfolio — podcast artwork, newsletter graphics, website content, social media assets, Sports Bank shop and retail materials, and our upcoming leisurewear brand.
This is a genuinely varied brief. You could be designing podcast cover art one week and helping shape the look of a new leisurewear line the next.
Do as much or as little as you want - from a couple of hours a week upwards. We'll work around you.
For the right applicant, there's also scope to help manage other volunteer designers.
What We're Looking For
Some graphic design experience you can show us (a portfolio, samples, or previous work - student, self-taught, professional, any stage of your career is welcome)
An interest in sport, social impact, or both
What You'll Get
Real, published work for your portfolio - across podcast branding, digital content, retail, and product design
Flexible hours that fit around your life
References and support to help open doors for your next steps
The chance to work on something that genuinely matters to the young people and organisations we support
How to Apply
Send us examples of your work and a few lines about yourself to info@sportlocalaction.org.
Sport Local Action is a Community Interest Company (No. 15440132) using sport to drive social change.
