Closing Date12 Nov 2026

Following an external governance review, Blackpool FC Community Trust is looking to recruit a number of new Trustees to join its Board. Trustees play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and supporting the management team to deliver the very best for the community.

About the Trust
As well as delivering a wide range of outreach services in schools and community settings, the Trust delivers further and higher education programmes from its facilities within Bloomfield Road Stadium, and operates Blackpool FC School, which provides alternative education provision and recently received a 'Good' Ofsted rating. Its vision is "changing lives of local residents and building a more healthy, active and work ready community". The Trust has recently appointed a new Chief Executive and will shortly begin consultation on its 2027–2032 strategy.

Expertise sought
Applications are welcome from everyone, but the Trust is looking specifically for:
- Education: knowledge of secondary school education and special educational needs.
- Income generation: fundraising, campaigning, advocacy, traded income, social investment, marketing and/or business development.

Previous trustee experience is useful but not essential; full training and support will be provided. The roles are voluntary. Successful candidates will need an enhanced DBS check.

How to apply
Recruitment is managed on the Trust's behalf by Evans Coaching & Consultancy Limited. To arrange a conversation, email Mike Evans at mike@evanscandc.com; a brief note or CV is welcome but not required for the first conversation. A recruitment pack is available on the Trust's website.

The application window closes on Thursday 12 November 2026, with interviews before the end of November.
