About Coach Core Foundation
Coach Core is a nationwide education and employment charity that uses sport and apprenticeships to engage 16–24-year-olds facing significant barriers to employment. It was created by The Royal Foundation in 2012, as a response to the 2011 London riots and as a legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since 2012 it has supported over 1,000 apprentices, working with over 300 employers across the sport and physical activity sector. The charity is delivering ahead of schedule on its Project 1500 strategy and is entering a new period of growth.
