Active Row
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
LYR's flagship programme brings rowing to young people who would not otherwise access the sport: school-based indoor rowing hubs, after-school and open clubs, and on-water sessions at sites including the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Dedicated strands include Active Row SEND and Active Row Life Skills. In 2025, 6,909 young people took part in LYR programmes (30% with SEND or a physical disability, 48% from ethnic minority backgrounds).
