Autism Friendly Football (Rangers Charity Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Autism Friendly Football programme, delivered by the Rangers Charity Foundation, gives children and young people aged 5 to 16 on the autism spectrum the chance to play football in a welcoming, structured and fun environment. Coaches are trained specifically to support young people on the autism spectrum, and children build football skills, friendships and confidence, while parents and carers can meet and find shared support. Sessions are free, open to all abilities and need no previous experience. Wednesdays at Pro Soccer Newton Mearns: ages 5 to 8 at 6pm and ages 9 to 13 at 7pm. Fridays at the Ibrox Community Complex, Glasgow: ages 14 to 16 at 5:30pm. To join, contact the Rangers Charity Foundation at rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk.
