Community Basketball Sessions (London Lions Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The London Lions Foundation is the front door to basketball in London, with the goal that every child in London can play basketball in a fun, friendly environment within a 15-minute drive of home. The Foundation works in schools, community halls and playgrounds to introduce the game - school visits, assemblies and beginner coaching give thousands of children their first touch of a basketball, while free and low-cost community sessions promote health, wellbeing and inclusion. The Foundation also renovates courts and halls across the capital and opens doors into education, employment and volunteering through basketball. Schools and families can contact foundation@thelondonlions.com.
