Community table tennis participation programmes
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Ping! is Table Tennis England's community participation programme, delivered with Sport England funding, putting table tennis tables in parks, public spaces, shopping centres and community venues across England. Anyone can pick up a bat and play: no membership, no experience and, at many locations, no equipment needed. The programme includes Ping Pong Parlours (free pop-up play spaces in empty shop units), Ping Hubs (community venues offering free play plus social sessions, activities and competitions) and Ping in the Community (subsidised table packages for community organisations). Ping for the People extends the programme as part of the legacy of the 2026 World Team Table Tennis Championships in London. Playing at public tables and Parlours is free; community organisations purchase subsidised table packages. Table Tennis England is the trading name of the English Table Tennis Association Ltd, company number 4268058.
