ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation, the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion FC (formerly known as Albion in the Community), runs one of the region's largest disability football programmes across Sussex. Its membership programme offers disabled people more than 20 weekly inclusive and disability-specific sessions, including sessions for people with Down's syndrome, visual or hearing impairment, autism, amputation or limb difference, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and adults with mental health problems. Players who want competition can join pan-disability teams in the Sussex Disability Football League in under-12, under-16 and adult age groups. Disability-specific squads represent the club at regional and national level, training at the club's elite performance centre in Lancing.
