ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

The EMPOWER Hub is Ipswich Town Foundation's family hub in the IP2 area of Ipswich, based at The Willows Family Hub on Magdalene Close. It provides a programme of weekly family and youth groups designed to bring families together, reduce isolation, and create opportunities for families, adults and young people to learn, grow and feel included, with a close focus on wellbeing, confidence and community connection. The Foundation describes the Hub as increasing access to support and raising aspirations for young people and adults in an area of deprivation in Ipswich. Weekly groups for parents and families offer peer support, coffee afternoons and practical resources, while youth sessions are designed to build confidence, friendships and life skills. The Hub's Women's Corner session is a friendly, women-only drop-in space where women can take part in arts and crafts, workshops and wellbeing activities, or simply connect with other women; babies and toddlers are welcome, and the Hub is hosting monthly health sessions at the Women's Corner. The EMPOWER Hub was made possible by the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association Players' Fund, administered through the Premier League Charitable Fund, with the Lentonbrook Foundation supporting enrichment activities for children, young people and families. The Foundation has delivered weekly sessions at the Hub since September 2025, and officially launched it in November 2025.
