Gloucestershire Growlers Visually Impaired Cricket
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Gloucestershire Growlers, formed in June 2012 and supported by Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation, welcome blind and visually impaired people with an interest in keeping active and having fun. The group gives visually impaired people in and around the county the opportunity to take part in sport and to socialise with people who understand the daily impact of a visual impairment. The Growlers play in the BCEW South and West Development League in summer and train regularly at Hatherly and Reddings CC in Cheltenham in summer and at the University of Gloucestershire in winter. Players are of all ages, male and female, and many had never played before.
