Healthy Hearts (Saints Community Development Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Healthy Hearts is a Saints Community Development Foundation programme for primary schools in St Helens, started in 2025. It teaches children about the heart, nutrition and exercise, with the aim of increasing understanding of how nutrition and exercise affect the heart and reducing obesity rates in primary schools. Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, with activities such as quizzes and poster design, and have been delivered in schools including Bleak Hill, Broad Oak, Legh Vale and Eccleston Lane Ends primary schools.
