SEND Schools Cricket (Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation works with SEN schools and SEN departments in schools and colleges to give young people with learning or physical disabilities the chance to play social and competitive cricket in a fun, inclusive way. Foundation coaches deliver sessions directly into schools, including Super 1s softball cricket and Table Cricket (an adapted indoor game played on a table tennis table), alongside Young Leaders training and local and county festivals and tournaments. The aim is to develop communication, confidence and social skills alongside cricket and fundamental movement skills.
