ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

Senior Blues: Community Meet Ups are Ipswich Town Foundation's free, weekly coffee mornings for older people in rural Suffolk, extending the Foundation's Senior Blues café sessions (which also run monthly at Portman Road) to Melton and Stowmarket. Made possible through the Premier League Fans Fund, the programme aims to re-engage older Ipswich Town supporters who have become socially isolated by creating regular, accessible opportunities for social connection, to improve participants' health and wellbeing. Sessions are open to all, with non-football fans also encouraged to attend, and provide a safe, welcoming space designed to encourage social activity, with a range of themed activities and light refreshments. The Melton sessions run every Monday from 10.30am to 12pm at Burness Parish Rooms (first session Monday 21 September 2026), and the Stowmarket sessions run every Tuesday from 1.30pm to 3pm at Stowmarket Community Centre (from Tuesday 22 September 2026).
