Super 1s
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Super 1s is the Lord's Taverners' national disability cricket programme, giving young people with a disability aged 8-25 the chance to play regular, competitive cricket. Participants train at community cricket hubs run with county cricket boards, compete against peers at festivals and competitions, and take part in life-skills and employability workshops. The programme aims to improve physical and mental wellbeing, combat loneliness and build confidence and independence, with progression routes from participant to coach, volunteer or role model. In 2024/25 it ran 190 hubs across every English county, Scotland and Wales.
