Super 1s (Worcestershire)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Super 1s gives young people with a disability the chance to play regular, competitive cricket. Worcestershire Cricket Foundation runs six community hubs: Worcester (Mondays 5-6pm, Old Elizabethans CC, WR3 7SN), a visually impaired hub at New College Worcester (Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm, term time only), Dudley Central (Thursdays 5-6pm, Russells Hall Park, DY1 2LL), Kidderminster (fortnightly 5-6pm, Kidderminster CC, term time only), Oldswinford (Fridays 6-7pm, Oldswinford CC, DY8 2BG) and Malvern (Tuesdays 5-6pm, Barnards Green CC, term time only). Sessions are fun, safe and engaging softball cricket - no experience needed - helping participants develop cricket and personal skills and social engagement, with a summer festival bringing the hubs together.
