Together Against Suicide (Sky Blues in the Community)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Sky Blues in the Community delivers the Premier League's Together Against Suicide initiative at Coventry City. Developed with suicide prevention charity Samaritans, the initiative uses the power and reach of football to encourage conversations around suicide prevention and reduce the stigma that can stop people seeking support. Throughout the 2026/27 season the Together Against Suicide team is at every Coventry City home fixture, providing a welcoming space where supporters can access information, advice and support, talk in a safe, non-judgemental setting and be signposted to trusted services. Support comes from Sky Blues in the Community Health and Wellbeing Leads, clinicians from Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, It Takes Balls to Talk, Coventry Samaritans, Talking Therapies and Andy's Man Club. Samaritans train first-contact staff, stewards, security and project volunteers to recognise distress, respond appropriately and signpost support.
