Together Against Suicide (Wolves Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Together Against Suicide is a Premier League-funded programme run by Wolves and Wolves Foundation with Samaritans, using football's reach to raise awareness of mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention and make confidential support easier to reach. Wolves were one of 11 clubs in the pilot launched in September 2025. On matchdays at Molineux, supporters having suicidal thoughts can ask any steward to contact the safeguarding team for a confidential conversation and guidance to support; ten wellbeing stewards have had extra training, and staff have been trained by Samaritans to listen without judgement and signpost help. Friends and family worried about someone can use it too. The programme uses the Black Country greeting 'Ow Am Ya?'. Two suicide awareness sessions at Molineux in May and September 2026 were attended by over 100 fans. Renewed funding for a second year adds a dedicated Wellbeing Officer at Wolves Foundation.
