Visually Impaired Cricket (Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation)
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation delivers Visually Impaired (VI) cricket across its communities so that people with sight loss can enjoy the excitement, teamwork and social benefits of cricket. VI cricket uses a larger, audible ball filled with ball bearings so players can track it by sound, with modified rules. The Foundation works with local partners, volunteers and national bodies to provide coaching, equipment and safe spaces, aiming to break down barriers to participation and promote physical activity and mental wellbeing.
