Walking Football
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Walking Football Association (WFA) is the national governing body for walking football, supporting a network of affiliated clubs across England, Scotland and Wales that run regular walking football sessions - a slower-paced, social version of the game. Walking football was conceived for men over 50 and women over 40, and thousands of players take part regularly, including people in their 70s and 80s. Players can find their nearest club or session through the club directory on the WFA website (thewfa.co.uk/club-directory). Session times and costs are set by individual clubs, so check with your local club for details. Enquiries: info@thewfa.co.uk.
