Wildcats girls football centres
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Wildcats is The FA's programme of fun, non-competitive football centres for girls aged 5 to 11, designed for those trying football for the first time or wanting to play with other girls their own age. Sessions usually last an hour and are delivered by FA-qualified coaches who are fully trained in health, safety and safeguarding, at centres across England that can be found through the FA's postcode search, with places booked online. Most sessions charge up to a maximum of £3, and free taster sessions may be offered to new girls. The FA reports that 81% of parents said their daughters had grown in confidence since attending, and 71% said their daughters found new friends.
